Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide. Four amino acids, in the order Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, and that is the entire molecule. PubChem registers it as CID 219042, formula C14H22N4O9, molecular weight 390.35, CAS number 307297-39-8 [3]. The short chain is part of why it is cheap to make and cheap to sell.

A spelling note, because it changes what your searches return. FDA and PubChem write Epitalon, without the h. The buying market writes Epithalon. They are not two compounds: PubChem carries both spellings against the same record, along with the sequence name Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly [3]. It sits on no category list at all today. Pages saying it is category 2 are quoting a snapshot that has since moved.

Second, the sterility line is a screen with no incubation period, temperature or method printed, and the heavy metals table reports "negative" per element rather than a concentration against a limit. Negative is reassuring. A number is checkable.
